The Strongest Ninja! Jiraiya….not much to say about him, other than he’s immensely strong, but I’ll try. Jiraiya said he came close to dying only twice (once when he peaked on Tsunade, and the second time when Naruto’s Four Tailed Form attacked him), now that’s impressive, considering he’s been on 614 A-rank and 138 S-rank missions (1800+ if you include D-B rank). Jiraiya has been said to be able to improve upon any jutsu he learned. When it comes to jutsus, Jiraiya has a Toad for every situation, not to mention his Katon-Oil jutsus and his Doton. His Fuinjutsu (Sealing Techniques) is impressive as well, as he was able to create a Seal to suppress Naruto’s Kyubi chakra. As impressive as all of these are, what impresses me most about Jiraiya isn’t so obvious. All of his students grew to be Kage level or the highest rank of Jonin, two of them even becoming leaders of their respective Villages (Minato-Konoha and Nagato-Amegakure). Statistically speaking, Jiraiya is the strongest Sanin; Ninjutsu: 5, Taijutsu: 4.5, Genjutsu: 3, Intelligence: 4.5, Strength: 4.5, Speed: 4.5, Stamina: 5, Sealing: 4.5, giving him a total of 35.5. Orochimaru was a very special ninja. He was so strong that the Third Hokage thought no-one in Konoha could stop him if he invaded, so strong that he fought Naruto’s Four Tailed Form with no fear and not to mention he was a candidate for the position of Hokage at some point. He is special because unlike other characters, he very rarely used Element-based Ninjutsu, instead he opts to use Snake-based Jutsu, Fuinjutsu and Kinjutsu (Forbidden Techniques), even learning an “Immortality“ Kinjutsu. What one character would call their “Ultimate Jutsu”, Orochimaru would call it “One of my Ultimate Jutsus” (example, Sakon and Ukon summon ONE Rashomon as their Ultimate move, while Orochimaru summons THREE Rashomon as just a defensive wall). When it comes to actual stats, Orochimaru is comparable to a Kage; Ninjutsu: 5, Taijutsu: 3.5, Genjutsu: 5, Intelligence: 5, Strength: 3.5, Speed: 4.5, Stamina: 3.5, Sealing: 5, giving him a total of 35. Orochimaru lost in moments to Itachi (while he was in the Akatsuki) 7 years prior to the Akatsuki meeting in Part 1 (which seems like a plot hole, as Itachi would have only been 11 at the time, and we know he joined Akatsuki AFTER he left Konoha, which he did when he was an ANBU Captain, which means he was at least 13) and lost his arm in the process, yet Itachi didn’t want to fight Jiraiya as “both of them would die”. Here‘s something many of you probably didn‘t know, Kisame graduated Kirigakure‘s Academy at 10 years old (which means he killed his classmate, as it was before Zabuza had done the test). Kisame’s power was once judged by the fact that at 30% he was man-handling Guy, who had to use his very best jutsu to win. That battle is virtually meaningless now. From his performance in the first stage of his battle with Kirabi, we see that he just doesn’t swing Samehada wildly with brute force, he actually has swordsmanship skills. He also has demonstrated how strong he was when he single-handedly defeated Roshi (the Four Tailed Jinchuuriki) and all he said after that battle was, “I’m a bit tired”. Well, after that we are pretty much left in the dark about his abilities, so I’ll let this battle speak for him. His stats are; Ninjutsu: 4.5, Taijutsu: 4.5, Genjutsu: 2.5, Intelligence: 3.5, Strength: 5, Speed: 4, Stamina: 5, Sealing: 3.5, giving him a total of 32.5. Currently he’s 32 years old. Itachi, well do I really need to say anymore? Ah okay I will. Ever since he was young he was extraordinarily powerful, evidenced by the fact that he became an ANBU Captain at only 13 years old and mastered his Sharingan at only 8 years old. Also, the fact that he beat Orochimaru, Kakashi, and Deidara without much effort also shows his strength. Itachi is a pacifist and preferred to avoid battle, but when he can’t, he instead ends it quickly with a Genjutsu. He makes his hand signs so quickly for his Jutsus that they largely go unseen by his opponents, and he is well-versed in Taijutsu as well, evidenced by how he effortlessly beat Sasuke in Part 1 (Sasuke had gone through heavy Taijutsu training with Kakashi, yet lost to Itachi in mere moments. His stats were: Ninjutsu: 5, Taijutsu: 4.5, Genjutsu: 5, Intelligence: 5, Strength: 3.5, Speed: 5, Stamina: 2.5, Sealing: 5, giving him a total of 35.5. At the time of his death he was 21 years old. Deidara’s greatest ability was his intelligence, as he often misdirects his opponents and takes calculated risks to get his opponents into range of his bombs. He is a long-range fighter, but skilled enough to evade his opponents if they should come close to him, such as in his fights with Sasuke and Team Guy. His exploding clay was a very versatile technique, as he could make bombs as big as buildings, or bombs as small as bugs, depending on the situation. He even trained his eye to see through Genjutsu after his quick loss to Itachi. However, what impresses me most about Deidara was his age, 19 years old (16 in Part 1). His stats are; Ninjutsu: 5, Taijutsu: 3.5, Genjutsu: 3.5, Intelligence: 4.5, Strength: 3.5, Speed: 4.5, Stamina: 4, Sealing: 3.5, giving him a total of 32. Sasori was Deidara’s partner, and according to Deidara, the stronger of the two. Sasori was a puppet master of the highest caliber, as he can move the strings so quickly it appears to be a blur to most opponents (or just Sakura). He was also an ingenious inventor, as he made many of Sunagakure’s puppets, giving him the advantage over other puppeteers as he would know the tricks of his previous puppets. His mastery of puppet-based jutsu is so great that he defeated the Third Kazekage, the most powerful of all the Kazekages. Just like Deidara, Sasori was a long range fighter, and even more adept at avoiding close range battles than Deidara, evidenced by his fight with Chiyo and Sakura, where he continuously revealed new tricks to keep them at bay. He also misdirects his opponents, often times ending with them being poisoned. By modifying his own body into a puppet, Sasori discarded a puppet master’s one weakness. He could now fight at close range, which meant that he was both a long range and close range fighter. His stats are; Ninjutsu: 5, Taijutsu: 4, Genjutsu: 4, Intelligence: 5, Strength: 3, Speed: 4.5, Stamina: 5, Sealing: 4, giving him a total of 34.5. He was 35 at the time of his death. Kakuzu had decades of experience, and used that to his advantage as he can fight several high level opponents at the same time, while still being in control. He was extremely fast as often times he disappeared from sight when fighting, his physical strength was also impressive (he stopped Choji’s massive punch with one hand and punched down an iron gate). Kakuzu’s intelligence was frightening, as he was able to see through Shikamaru’s strategies, and formulated counters to them (such as when he saw through Shikamaru’s Shadow Possession Jutsu, and without being caught in it). Kakuzu’s most frightening ability was his body structure. He could stretch/separate his limbs, and heal any injury he received in battle, he could also remove any damaged organs he has and replace it with someone else’s. He could control all five elements because of this unique ability, and create beasts from his threads, making him a truly dangerous opponent. His stats are: Ninjutsu: 5, Taijutsu: 4, Genjutsu: 3, Intellect: 4.5, Strength: 4, Speed: 4, Stamina: 4.5 and Sealing: 3.5, giving him a total of 32.5. He was 91 years old when he died. Hidan was probably the hardest opponent to beat. He was the only “true” immortal in the series, and he used this to his advantage, as he could take risks many combatants wouldn’t for fear of dying. His only weakness was dismemberment, but even that could be transcended by simply sewing himself back together (or being sewed up most of the time). His main jutsu (Curse Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood) allowed for the quick, or in Hidan’s case, the slow death of his opponents, as what ever happens to him, happens to them. The only weakness of this jutsu is its need for Hidan to taste his opponent’s blood. He uses his Triple Bladed Scythe to help in this task, as it is meant to inflict simple wounds instead of outright killing (only someone tremendously slow would get hit by it in a straightforward attack). To make it connect with the target, Hidan uses his phenomenal agility, coupled with the scythe’s cable to get a hit. Once this is done, one can consider the fight over. Hidan’s stats are: Ninjutsu: 5, Taijutsu: 4.5, Genjutsu: 3, Intelligence: 3, Strength: 4, Speed: 3.5, Stamina: 5, Sealing: 3.5, giving him a total of 31.5. He was 22 years old when he was incapacitated from battle.

I strongly disagree about Itachi's stamina. Remember that he held out longer than Sasuke, used 3 Amaterasus, 2 Tsukomies and Susanoo for a period of time, where Sasuke's limit was 2 Amaterasu's and a Susanoo for less time than Itachi. On the other hand, he shouldn't get 5 in stamina either, but 2.5 is far too low. About 4 should be right. Also note, that, in direct conflict, not counting Madara in, Pain was first in strenght, then Sasori if it was 1v1 without previous info on oponent, otherwise, Itachi was second strongest, then Kisame, Sasori, and rest of Akatsuki.

I can't remember, who was first assigned with capturing 8 tails? Another proof of Itachi's strenght is that he was charged with Kyuubi.

SPOILER CONFIRMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Basically from what I can gather from various sources, Bee actually beats the crap out of Kisame and as many of us predicted uses ink. At the end he picks up Samehada to get his chakra back or something, and that's when Kisame attacks him, being back in his normal form. So basically Bee "wins" and is out of chakra, tries to get it back and is attacked by Kisame who really wasn't defeated at the end.

SPOILER CONFIRMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Killer bee changes to bijuu, and tries to escape while holding Sabu-chan et Ponta. But the water moves with Kisame in the center, so if he swims after them, they can't reach the air. Then Killer Bee suggests that since Kisame is after him, he'll leave them and try to escape by himself, so that with the water moving they will eventually reach the air. But Kisame attacks Ponta Killer Bee gets back to the rescue, and falls into the trap of Kisame, who attacks him with the dorsal fin and gets him back to a lower version of bjiuu Killer Bee gets out a single tentacle and uses it to grab Kisame away from him Meanwhile, Sabu-chan and Ponta get out of the water Killer Bee somethings about lightning sword, but on a suggestion of Hachibi, just spouts off ink in order to escape But Samehada/Kisame fusion can feel the chakra through the skin and he attacks Killer bee with the dorsal fin More to follow Kisame has cancelled the Suiton and the fusion, and gets close to Killer Bee down and not moving. He tries to cut off his legs but Samehada grabs the earth to protect Killer Bee Thorns come out of the handle, forcing Kisame to drop it, and Samehada jumps close to Killer Bee Samehada liked Killer Bee Chakra so much, it wants to make him its new master. It tries to heal Killer Bee with Chakra stolen from Kisame, but Kisame kicks it off Kisame grabs a sword of Killer Bee stuck into the earth, and gets ready to stab him.

So, Samehada betrayed Kisame. Kisame will die in the next chapter. Finito

Semaka2007, thanks for the spoiler. 99% of the spoilers you post come close to the manga. With that said, it means that my theory about Kisame and Samehada being together via a jutsu no longer holds true. If Samehada can choose, then it chose Kisame a long time ago and Suigetsu might indeed be able to handle the sword. However, if Samehada chooses Bee, the Suigetsu have to defeat Killbee to get it. That will be something to see.

Splicozg @ 216: Kisame did not have the Samehada for his whole life. At some point in time Samehada choose to stay with him. Most likely it had to do with the amount of chakra he has. How ever, a bijuu with zero tails (this is how Kisame is considered) has far less chakra than a bijuu with eight tails. Samehada is a parasite! And with all parasites, they to go the host that can best supply them with their needs. Parasites give an advantage to the host at some cost to the host. In Samehada and Kisame case, Samehada feeds on Kisame's chakra and gives him healing and stamina in return. The disadvantage, Samehada can leave at any time for a new host. For Kisame, it happened at the worst time, during battle with Killerbee!

I agree with the part that Samehada had betrayed Kisame, but I was hoping that this fight would last at least 6-8 chapters. I mean, in the anime it will last for 2 episodes at most.

MADARA UCHIA = DANZO. After long and hard anaylsis I have come to the conclusion that is stated above well it didn't take much brains ... really. Danzo has one sharingan and never revleals it. While Madara never reavles his other eye. Whever the creators have portraited Madara before they have only shown 1 of his eyes as an active sharingan. Other Reasons Include/ Exactly why do you think DAZO was missing when Madara a.k.a Topi popped up before all the kages? Plus there can't be 3 Uchihas alive at the moment now that brother Itachi is gone. I don't know how much of this is true or weather it aldreay has been discovered and posted. king eframe 224: I agree with you. However, I was really analyzing what he said. I wanted to know how Kisame and Samehada was paired. I thought it was some sort of jutsu. A parasite and host relationship since Samehada can feeds off chakra. I was wrong. Samehada chooses who he/she/it want to pair with and so the pairing with Kisame was conceived. Suigetsu always thought that he can do better with Samehada than Kisame and he wanted to kill him. From Suigetsu's words, I thought up the host parasite theory with Kisame and Samehada.

Jiraiya got hurt while fighting Naruto's 4 tails is only because he didn't want to hurt Naruto..

XD did bee and the hachibi got to do their 'fake bee/tentacle jutsu'? if they did then they somewhat succeeded in making kisame diffuse his unification jutsu with samehada which could have made kisame invincible. now kisame is into 'capture mode' so he had to use samehada to cut bee; but in a surprising turn of events, samehada liked bee's chakra too much it does not want any harm done to bee. if kisame does not die immediately after this without his samehada, then we'll see kisame use his ultimate jutsu/s without his sword. that would be a much more interesting and exciting fight. i don't want kisame to be reduced to a weak shinobi just because he doesn't have his ass-shaver. XD

Hm...After watching the anime, I have come up with a new theory that what if Danzou now is having a fake identity, and he is actually Madara Uchiha's younger brother.....because since Madara took his brother's eyes and then he ordered Itachi to kill Shisui to take the eyes and gave it to his younger brother to try and obtain another eternal sharingan that's why Danzou has 1 of Shisui's eye, and between Madara and his younger brother they always discover things 2gether.....oh well just a theory

@NightWizard: I guess that sword can eat a lot of Chakra when fused or maybe Kisame himself can handle a mass amount of chakra. What I really want to know is that after Samehada absorbed the chakra, will the chakra stay with him permanently or is it temporary.... if it is permanent haha the most tankest chakra absorption sword.

Maybe Kisame found some relation between chakra manipulation and legs or maybe all jinchuriki must have a complete body part (hmm, but three tails just have one eye) or legs is weakness of jinchuriki

Chapter 472 was a really interesting chapter. I don’t think anyone could have foreseen Kisame’s sword actually turning on him for Killerbee! I actually got a good laugh when I saw Kisame punt the poor Samehada out of anger, LOL. In all, I was really glad Kishi decided to finally devote an entire chapter to this battle instead of trying to squeeze one or two other plot lines inside these 17 pages as well. Honestly, he should see this battle to its conclusion before moving on anything else, but that’s just my opinion. From the look of the conclusion of this chapter, it seems the battle is already near its end. This is pretty disappointing as there wasn’t any real fighting between Kisame and Killerbee at all. It took all this time for Kisame to finally reveal his shark-man form, but we don’t get to see any of his new abilities before it’s all over — hence I feel a bit ripped off for having to wait a whole week for this. Also, you can’t call this a real battle since Killerbee couldn’t fight at all because the raccoon and the enka guy were in trouble. Why couldn’t we have a real fight like the one sage mode Naruto had with Pein? I would have liked to see a chess-like tactic battle of wits and jutsus between Killerbee and Kisame; they’re both powerhouses and there’s so little we know of their true powers — it would make for a really interesting battle. But alas, all we get is this underwater game of cat and mouse. Kisame’s water dome was in effect just a super-sized version of the water prison jutsu. I guess it’s the ideal technique to keeping your enemy trapped while incapacitating them at the same time; but does anyone else think how ironic it is that a shark is trying to drown an octopus? Given all the incredible Bijuu abilities and chakra at his disposal, who would have thought that Killerbee would not have the ability to breath underwater? The other thing I couldn’t wrap my head around was how they were talking underwater. You’d think that drowning outweighs any concern about maintaining communication, but then again I guess maintaining the flow of dialogue is pretty important too. I enjoyed the scenes where Killerbee is talking to the Hachibi on their next move, this symbiosis is another reason why I really would like Naruto to form a similar relationship with Kyuubi if that ever becomes possible. The current Kyuubi sees Naruto’s body as a prison, but if he’d willing to recognize that he would benefit from a symbiotic relationship with Naruto, I think that would be an excellent level up for his growth. That said, it could very well be impossible in Naruto’s case as well. After Killerbee underwent a partial transformation to keep Kisame at bay with his tentacles, Kisame mentions that Killerbee is known as the “perfect host” — which probably explains why Killerbee’s Bijuu powers are so much more advanced than what we’ve seen in other Jinchuuriki. If that’s so, maybe Naruto will be unable to obtain this level of power with the Kyuubi if he does not possess a “perfect host” body. I know that Naruto is already pretty powerful now that he has sage mode, but it would be such a shame to allow all the potential that is Kyuubi go to waste. Some might say that tapping into Kyuubi’s chakra is going down the path to the dark side, but it was Minato who put that beast inside Naruto in the first place; even Minato admits that he did that in order to give Naruto the power to fight Madara in the future. Therefore I still believe, regardless of whatever sage abilities Naruto may develop in the future, he must come to terms with his Kyuubi powers if he hopes to defeat Madara. I think we all saw that ink screen Killerbee used coming when we first saw him produce ink from his mouth in the last chapter. But like a shark drawn to blood, Kisame can smell Killerbee’s charka from miles away and takes him down even in the ink cloud. I had hoped that Killerbee would use anther tentacle clone to escape, but from the Hachibi’s comments it looks like it’s the real Killerbee who is lying helplessly in front of his enemy. Furthermore, Hachibi is even saying that his chakra has almost all been stolen by Samehada, that’s quite remarkable seeing how immense Bijuu charka levels are. The most remarkable thing, of course, comes when Kisame is about to cut of Killerbee’s legs and his own sword Samehada turn on his master. It seems that Killerbee’s octopus flavoured chakra was so delicious that Samehada has decided to go with its stomach and side with Killerbee. The scene that follows is pretty epic: like a feral dog, Samehada bites the hand of the man that used to feed him to protect his future meal ticket; so much for shark-man’s best friend. And when Samehada actually has the audacity to begin transferring charka back to Killerbee, Samehada can’t take this betrayal any longer and punts the poor thing away. Seriously, that was the funniest thing I’ve seen in Naruto in quite a while (I miss the LOL-type humor that was so common in Naruto in the old days ). Who would of thought that Samehada would become Killerbee’s unlikely ally. Kisame’s still determined to catch his prey regardless, I only hope that the small opening Samehada provided for Killerbee is enough for him to stop Kisame.
