It's possble Rin will come back into the picture at some point - soon hopefully, maybe even to heal Kakashi (Not likely!!). I imagine she would be an interesting ninja now. But then, Kakashi's final words were "Obito.. Rin.." which sounds kinda like "...we'll be together again soon" sorta thing, so she is probably dead. Anyway I hope Kakashi survives for at least a few chapters more. Go slug-power!

In my opinion, if this manga is endin soon then Kakashi and Tsunade will both die, so that Naruto could become Hokage. There's still too much that needs to happen before the manga ends, so I can't see it ending soon. A) There's the threat of Madara/Tobi. Something will have to be done about him once everyone knows that he's actually still around... Anyone have the feeling that he might have lied to Sasuke just to get him to help his aims? Also B) There's the threat of Kabuto still to deal with. C) There's figuring out what to do to get Sasuke back to the "good" side. D) There's Naruto needing to become hokage and fulfill his dream. And E) There's overcoming/defeating Danzou So yeah, there's still a lot that needs to happen just yet before the manga ends. Don't see it ending any time soon. On another note, hope Kakashi doesn't die. Seems like the author has been on a rampage of killing major characters lately.

kakashi needs to die for konaha, suaske, and naruto to show there true strength. kakshi was always limited do to his small amount of chakra and his abilties stolen from a sharingon users eye. chojis dad had to die so there wouldnt be to fat guys flying around. kakashi has to die becuase he taught naruto and suaske all he knew and they surpassd him. understanding the characters in naruto is essential. Naruto a protagonist who would wield his beliefs and frame of mind. Naruto is a person who "beleives in hope" and would " protect everyone near him". He stands as the moral ground for everyone. Also the two characteristics of naruto are also the "moral subject" of the story. sasuke is a character with who to me started as good turn into a "bad guy" and will go full circle and be on the good side (i did not specify if he will be in naruto's side but it is still an option). remember in the manga where suigetsu was healing and juugo said that we protected each other. sasuke remembered his bonds with kakashi, naruto and sakura. he just made new bonds with other people without realizing it. his sole mission is done which was to take revenge for the killing of the uchiha and i think he is on a fact finding mision to get the truth on why did they let his brother kill everyone. we might get a suprise twist in that story too (just like danou's suprise appearance in the hokage's chamber as well as killing the messenger frog). anyway, back to the characterization and the current manga, if in ever sasuke and the rest of the hawk sees konaha's state, i would think they might engage pein or just watch. i think it will depend what is the current damage in the hidden leaf village. remember, sasuke needs to learn the truth regarding itachi's real mission and why the cover-up. come to think of it, why will they (elder advisers + danzou) to have to kill the whole uchiha clan while leaving the most intelligent and gifted amongst them, itachi. kakashi may die or not is not the point anymore. the main reason he is in the state he is in now because there should be a passing of the fire/flame/torch (whatever you want to call it) to the young. If you notice the whole arc is about the young growing and being responsible. again another symbolism that kishimoto masashi used. on danzou... i heard this from someone earlier, that he will be assasinated by the person who replaced sasuke in team kakashi, sai. i beleive so too. he has bonded with them and has realize that bonds and feelings (good or bad) towards people are fine and makes you feel alive. again, this goes to show you that the young will take charge and be responsible. they hope and dream of a perfect world. a little naive but it is all we dream for? right? well i hope so. i would wonder where the story will go. it is either he lets naruto go back and kill pein, sasuke to arrive and hidden somewhere who is stalking them is madara, konoha nins have pulled through by working together as a family (stolen from the third hokage's mouth) or danzou saving the day which makes him and roots the heroes of that event. making the people think that he should make the decisions in the village and not trunade. making him the default hokage. now we just have to wait and see the next chapters.

naruto hopes to change everyone's mindset of a divided world to a single peaceful world. just like the jiraya sama's first book where naruto's name came from. jiraya is like a prophet or something to write a book about a savior who would unite everyone and would protect each person from harm.

all of you think that having a technique better would protect and kick ass. however this is not what naruto is all about. he is an average person with big dreams and a drive to not anyone feel the pain he felt being the nine tail demon fox's host. he is like pein where everyone could not understand. where people do not understand a person or something, they always tend to take the negative side of things immediately. that is what kishimoto masashi is telling us. no needs to know everything and be the smartest. all a person needs is hope and dream of a better world. with the help of protecting people you care and have bonds with, you can achieve the impossible. i know it is a cliche but the heart of a warrior is more important compared to the most technically advance opponents. this also applies to the common man/woman. the "good heart" of the person will achieve more things than others. hence, why artificial intelligence does not work. once it feels and recognizes good and bad, friend or foe, like and dislike, joy and sadness...maybe??? i think i am drugs and blabber so much tonight. apologies for not making a coherent thought. i just had to stay awake and make my brain function while i wait for a package that is being sent. believe it or not, working all through the weekend and have not slept yet. been 3 days today.

These last few chapters have taken more left turns than a blond in a round room looking for a quarter in the corner. There is no way of telling what will happen in the future chapters. It does feel like a huge wave of re-enforcements is coming. (Team Guy, Team Kurenai, Saksuke's Team, Gaara and the Sand Ninjas, Sakura, Yamato, and Naruto). All have scores to settle with Akatsuki, Orochimaru and Danzou. Of course, with all this, the end of the manga seems close.

Ugh, it's obvious that the older generation is all dying off. That's the point of the manga: the younger generation always takes over. That's a recurring theme in the story. It makes sense: their deaths are clearing the stage for the younger ones' rise.

this manga didnt say anything about naruto so it sucks. also most of it wasnt understandable. kakashi wont die because he still has an unfinished role in the story so big possibility he will still live. also i agree that the manga wont end because if the author was good enough he might make another part of naruto life for example when he becomes hokage and commands the ninjas in konoha. besides naruto doesnt know about his father who is the 4th hokage so itll still be a long time befor naruto shippuuden ends. also akatsuki still lives and narut still didnt bring sasuke bach so itll be a long time before the manga ends. also these two weeks will give the episodes one step closer to the manga.
