Finally a good chapter. Maybe it was just me, but the last few chapters seemed like Kishimoto was rushed and skipped explanations or something. I really don't think that Kakashi will die like that, getting stabbed by a freaking nail. Kishimoto will either make his death glorious, or he wont have a death.

On page 12 the panel that is second to last is showing Kakashi's Sharingan eye in a close up and he looks like he is concentrating.In the next panel Kakashi is thinking "Please make it in time" and in the next panel there we see Naruto.Now I have two possible explanations.Either Kakashi is referring to Naruto and hopes to return to konoha in time to save it (which I find a little unlikely) or he refers to himself and he hopes to have made it in time to trap Pein into a genjutsu.Either way,I am sure he doesn't die here.

Naruto was worried that the village might be in trouble and what did pa toad say "Dont think to much you should be doing what you are supposed to be doing. There are a lot of excellent shinobi in konoha". Could that be a foreshadow of kakashis or someone important death? Next chapter we shall find out.

Hey Pyro... You're comment about it being the fourth doesn't make any sense. If you recall, back in the early days of Naruto when the third died... The third used a technique he borrowed off of the fourth. In that technique you can see the fourth trapped for eternity.

As much as I would like to say he survived using genjutsu, it's unlikely. "A Hero Falls ... " Pretty sure he's dead. A possibility either way. Though I don't see the big deal of him dying so soon, or that way. Just because a character gives literal definition to the word "epic" doesn't mean the said character is going to go out with an epic bang. I have a theory, i'd like to hear your thought people Anywa, the "weapons platform pein" is pretty much dead/destroyed. Also, there are ideas that pein controls his bodies through the metal piercings. Pein was sending a nail kakkashi's way. Also, pein says at the end, "know pein". Anyway, these points are making me think that maybe kakkashi will end up being one of pein's posse.

Ive said it several times now the next time we see a huuga its gonna be neji since we havent seen in forever well at least since the search for the ak hide when they had gara,and hes either gonna be the 1 to kill pein or 1 of his dolls.if u think about it neji is probaly the only to beat him because 1.he see all his chakra points the only way for neji to be defeated is if u were directly behind him.2.hes the only other person I know of that can block/parry ppls attacks (we he spins).3.if neji got close enough and used 128 trigrams or more he could easily take out all of the chakra receivers that pein and his dolls have implanted into them.I also wonder if tsunade can go into sage mode like j-man.if u think about oro kinda went into sage mode when he became that white snake right.so why cant she. Hmm...well, this episode has definately ignited a fire within my chest, however, I do not think that Kikashi is dead. The sharrigan requires eye contact and there were two opportunites for Kikashi to connect with Pein, once in the 7th slide and of course during the last slide. I believe that Kakashi might have captured Pein in genjutsu...I'm just not sold on his death just yet due to kakashi's Magenyko (excuse the spelling) sharrigan. Just remember Kakashi's fight with Dedira; if Kishi has in fact killed off this beloved character in such a manner, I feel that Kishi has seriously lost touch with his audience. I also feel that Naruto has more than enough motivation to do away with Pein...killing Kakashi is simply overkill (excuse the pun). With Pein's abilities, it really makes me wonder what powers Madara really has since Pein refers to Madara as master.

Look at the last black picture, it doesn't look like Kakashi's face (well it's hard to tell) but what I think is very noticable is his hair. Kakashi's hair doesn't fray out in the front, naruto's does.. My humble theory is that Kakashi used Mangekyou to transfer Naruto to this dimension. It may have screwed kakashi over for a while, but I believe he is capable of that. I guess if i had to go w/ a second theory it would probably just hit his eye. It scared the hell out of me at first, but now I at least have a little reason not to believe it...phew...but if he dies I'll be hella pissed, he's my favorite character ):

kakashi is too big of a character to just die like that. Asuma was not as important as kakashi, and yet he had several chapters surrounding his death, and it was a big deal. this is too fast and too under emphasized for it to be his death. you dont kill a major figure in one chapter and that be it. naruto is still way too far out anyway to get there before he dies

PEIN will dies in Konoha. If not in the actual village, it will be in the fire country. Naruto will be back when PEIN is still in Konoha. Kakashi and Naruto will fight all the PEIN. Madara sent PEIN because he was betting on J-man to kill him. when that failed, he decided to use the whole leaf village to get rid of PEIN. If he has to fight PEIN, the danzo spies in the hidden rain will know that he is still alive. Madara needs to get PEIN out of the way now before he can continue his ultimate mission. Madara wants to be a GOD, now PEIN. Also, we will wait to see the Mizukage's true face. Know Kishi, he will hide the Mizukage's face as he did with Nagato's eyes. PEIN dies at Konoha.

MS is a eye jutsu that capable of "GENJUSTU" and hatake Kakashi is much capable on launching that technique.. as i remember in the battle between 3 peins body against the perveted hermit.. jiraiya is able to kill the 3 bodies of pein by using Genjutsu.. (the idea is pein (rennigan user) is cannot detect or figure out if his enemy is using genjutsu, so kakashi has an advantage if he activated the MS ) And another observation on page01, akimichi chouji saw the trap kawarimi bunshin of kakashi at the back of God realm, and on page16 & page17 the position of kakashi is same in page01 where chouji saw the trap bunshin. Maybe kakashi’s body hit by the nail is the trap bunshin.. Another observation is on page17 the silhouette of the eye of kakashi before he hitted by the nail is his right eye is close while the left eye(MS eye) is open, maybe it’s a hint of kishimoto to us that kakashi is already activated his MS against the God realm.. so the last silhouette where kakashi head is injured and there is blood flowing down was a genjutsu.. and for those who said and declaring that kakashi is dead your freak... did you read the bold capital letters "THE LAST THING LEFT FOR KAKASHI" and the last title says " Pay Close Attention" and that is referring to kakshi.. so therefore i conclude that kakashi is wont die because of that nail or maybe against Pein..

the best chance for kakashi to survive such an attack is to use the technique he used against that "clay multi mouth bomber kid" i forgot his name, kakashi is just going to focus on the nail and transport the nail somewhere else, however, the first time he used that technique took a lot to prepare well lets see maybe he had improved on it or maybe some other unpredictable things happen again, of course the other way to survive is somebody else saving him which is most likely on my opinion.
