I am glad to see that this season is moving at a faster pace. I think that by the middle of it, they would finish the battle with Hidan and Kakuzu, and we will also see the battle between Sasuke and Orochimaru and Sasuke vs Deidara. I am saying this because in the opening, Deidara is shown with Tobi, and Deidara's stance is the same as in the manga, in the chapter's opening, before the fight with Sasuke.

damn boring + sad episode

yup sad. is it just my eyes or the episode was a bit dark and blurry?

It was a sad episode, but it was boring as well. But it's good they shown the entire Konoha 11 being at the funeral (minus Shikamaru), not to mention the Hokage and others (I think that's Anko I see! Cool!).

There are the fillers and then there are episodes like this one,which doesn't exist in the manga but are so good.I loved the shougi showdown between Shikamaru and his father.Moreover it was an episode without a single flashback!WOW!

No, he can't. Remember when he used it on deidara. He needed a lot of time to prepare mangekyou sharingan. One of tsunade's slugs probable stopped nail. Other solution is that kakashi removed his mask and cought the nail.

You don't need to remove a mask to catch a nail. Either way, Kakashi is not going to die because of a nail!!!! Get real people, come on, he is a super genius ninja, he can't be killed by a nail, that would be the stupidest death in Naruto. Kakashi might be injured, maybe, the nail hit the sharingan eye, and then Kakashi would be in trouble, but he can't be killed by a FUCKING NAIL!!!

well I dont think that a nail can kill kakashi.Perhaps it will hit his sharingan and disable him from using it but it wont be an end for him,as u know he was a great ninja before having a sharingan so i think we will see him doing sth amazing without depending on his sharingan.there is an other possibility that he will dodge it,but I dont think he's the one killing pein.I think naruto will kill him.If he's going to get killed bye this fucking nail it would be the most ridiculous death in naruto !

@darkliam: If Pein kills the greatest shinobi with a nail, that would e a disgrace to Kishimoto, for killing with pure ease a major character. Think about it, Pein already killed Jiraiya, he can't kill Kakashi, at least not with a nail, come on, Kakashi is a super genius, he figured something out. Kakashi will most likely lose his sharingan eye, maybe that is why Pein told him: "Know pein", because he intends to inflict pain to Kakashi, not to kill him instantly with a nail. And "The last thing for Kakashi is?" what could that mean??? Maybe he will use his MS, maybe he will use it, and get out of this situation, but get killed because he doesn't have too much chakra, who knows, but he can't be killed by a nail, you will see in the next chapter. "Pay close attention" , i know the next title will be different, but if it remains this way, maybe it refers to Kakashi using his MS, because as we know, he has to stay focused on his target to use properly the MS.

This episode was a necessary one even though it was sad and depressing. It helps you to really feel what Shikamaru is going through. I was tearing up when his dad was talking to him and everything. It was intense, they did a really good job pulling you in. Kakashi isn't going to die like this: Pein pulls out nail Kakashi: I can't dodge that at this distance Pein throws nail Kakashi dead It's not gonna happen that way
