I like this version of the opening better than the slower one before it.

Not to mention, one of the boring episodes ever. I know Sasuke needs to create his platoon, but except for Juugo's recruitment, the Suigetsu and Karin's recruitment should have lasted one episode. And after Juugo's recruitment episode, we will have a one week break. So no Naruto two weeks from now.

So we see the southern Oto base and Karin in this episode as well as a flashback to how Karin met Sasuke. I think this girl makes Sakura's crushing on Sasuke look tame. Karin falls for Sasuke only because she saw how wonderful his chakra was. Go figure for a person who can sense chakra. XD Anyway, I found the new rearranged opening credits and the totally new ending credits far more entertaining than the episode. It's ironic that the end of the ending credits show Sakura and Sasuke's name in the sand with Sasuke's name with a line running over it. Does this mean Sakura is over Sasuke? Makes me wonder what are those guys in the Naruto animation department thinking. Hmm....

Holymoly....Karin is quite hot......but the fight i am waiting to see the most is not between him and itachi, I am waiting to see the epic fight between Naruto & PEIN, which will be another 3-4 months ....arghhh

I just realized something. Shino is the only one of the Konoha teams *not* shown in the new ending credits. Like it's not hard to draw him with shades standing next to Shikamaru.

Now we have an even better intro- and outro, and on top of that: really entertaining episodes, especially this one. It's all good.

lol how can you call this episode entertaining...the episode was so damn drawn out its kinda like in dbz when goku meets a villain for the fisst time and takes him two episode just to power up. The flashback with karin and sasuke capturing the enemies never took place..that was a mini filler...the episode before with zabuzas sword being lost never happened.they could of combined two episodes in one but noooo they had to drag it out. i rather have more fillers than extremely slow episodes .....bleach episodes are fun to watch....make the naruto episodes like part one i dont care even if they have more fillers. p.s. who the hell cares about intro and outros just uses up more time w/o the intro outro and that crap at the end we would have a long episode.

@19, I do not follow the dbz, but I what 'Bleach', which I also think is a awsome anime. I haven't seen all Bleach episodes, yet, but when I have, I'll follow the manga, aswell. --- What you seem to dislike about the latest 'Naruto' anime episodes, is what I particularily appreciate. That is, discovering things that the manga have left out. I welcome the 'mini fillers', and that's because it gives background insight.

I do not know how other people in general do when they whatch anime episodes, but I whatch it completely from end to beginning, always. The intro makes my brain prepared for 'Naruto time', and the outro helps it to process what I've just seen ;). Therefore, the intro- and outros, are of some importance to me.

yeah the anime is good thats why there is only 24 comments written....@19 the mini fillers are exactly what they are "mini fillers" that means that it is not apart of the story line. the only reason they are added is because to keep the manga and anime at a steady pace so that the anime does not catch up with the manga. Allep your telling me you like the slow slow pace of the anime is progressing at. everything just seems so slow. the whole thing where suigetsu fights those lame people to retrieve the sword was horrible. the characters on the horses seemed like they dont even fit in with the naruto universe. what insight do you get from that. we all know karin is a chakra sensor type when she smelled sasuke in the beginning of the episode so why put in the mini filler in. @23 you are the stupid one it is sasuke not saske you retard.

@28, That's good news. I'm looking forward to see it, and I hope that the anime creators will reveal more things from back then, when Kakashi was a kid. Furthermore, I believe that it is Masashi Kishimotos intention, not to reveal everything in the manga. The fans of the 'Naruto' serie will then have a larger meaning in watching the anime aswell. Note: I consider everyone who follows the Naruto serie as a fan of it. Even whiners with low self-esteem, who get kicks out of bashing via the internet.

It seems like omegam14 is proposing that everything should go att a fast pase, exept for the fighting parts. My suggestion to him is to go and watch a typical action movie, perhaps from Steven Seagal? He has made movies that you ought to like. There is Steven Seagal on a boat, Steven Seagal on a train, Steven Segal on an airplane, etc, etc. That is totally awsome, and guess what? Steven Seagal wins all the time, and in all battles. He’s unbeatable, and simply genious. You would find him a much better storyteller and director, than Masashi Kishimoto, I’m sure. Why don’t you go ahead and buy one of his, many, movies? You won’t regret it.

I have also complained, a little bit, about the Naruto anime, of the the ’Sora’, and ’Yuukimaru’ arc, ending abruptly. Otherwise, I’ll reveal that I don’t watch the anime just for the purpose of re-establishing what I’ve read in the manga, which would be a rather autistic trait, according to me ;).

you guys are retards allep you still have not answered my question. Why didn't kishi slow down part one of the sereies. YOU know why because that was not his intentions. He was forced to by the producers or whoever is in charge. Allep so the reason you watch the anime is to learn that it takes suigetsu 5 minutes to open a cell.lol allep since when did i trash kishimoto its not his fault that the anime is going at a slow rate. Im just tired of the fact that in every episode there is always a 5 minute flashback for some dumb reason. i do like the non fighting parts of the series especially when a big fight just ended and we move on to a further development. THat does not mean that i like flashback galore part one of naruto was awsome because it had a good medium pace to it. Allep i dont want naruto to be fast pace but you see idiot that naruto part 2 is slow so i want is faster so it can become medium pace. Before i read the manga i watched part one of the episodes. I liked it beacuse it was fun to watch. But then the fillers started showing up and i read the manga. When part two came out and i was psyched. I notcied that everything just seemed to go slower especially the fighting. venger when you make a question answer joke make sure that the answer part in your case ends with a period not a question mark. Dont say that was on accident because you had to press shift than the question mark. Well, I can't really answer that question, since I don't work for 'Bandai Studios', or whatever it's called. A guess, though, is that they wanted the anime and the manga to come out in the same day. How do you know that Kishi was forced to allow fillers by "whomever's in charge"? Suigetsu talked to the prisoners, other clips were shown, and so on. I don't remember that it actually took him five minutes of struggle, to open a cell. --- What I especially like with the first part of the Naruto anime, when he was a kid, is that there was more mystique, and undiscovered things for the viewers, etc. The episodes were a little bit more exiting, in that sence. It was somewhat a little too hysterical for me, from time to time, though. But still, that is a drop in the sea. I give it five out of five. --- What I particularily like with Naruto Shipuuden, is that the episodes are more focused on what's essential in the storyline, and that is about Akatsuki and the jinchuuriki hunt. It can be one or two flasback too much, sometimes, but that is also a drop in the sea, according to me. And it's definitely not worth making a fuss out of it, over the internet.

If people are frustrated at the anime and/or the manga, for moving forward at a slow pace, then my suggestion to them, is to wait for two or three weeks, and then come back to watch and read it all.

ok u know what? Just throw out all fillers and stuff so the anime just shows what the Manga shows. U know what that will mean? On hand hand, the Anime will catch up with the Manga really soon, which isnt a bad thing for itself BUT on the other hand the producers of the anime have to wait till the next manga comes up so they know what to draw (kishi DOESNT draw the anime!!) and than they can start producing the anime which costs a ton of time. So it would be 1 Chapter per Week and 1 Episode per 4 Weeks or something around that. Have fun dear Animelovers .. it is just what you wanted.. animes without fillers.. oh and PS: i dont like fillers either but they are necessary!

I personally have no problems with the mini fillers: I welcome them, but I do agree on that 'Naruto Shipuudens' big filler arcs, 'Sora arc' and 'Yuukimaru arc' were too long-drown, especially seeing as it ended abruptly. --- My wish is for the Naruto serie to make a stop, pretty soon, let's say in 50 to 100 episodes, and then come back when the main character, Naruto, is like 20-30 years old. That would be the finishing part of the manga, in my wishes.

Unfortunately, seeing as fillers are put in between the storyline, unlike with part one, when Narto was about 12 years old, it could mean that Masashi Kishimoto is planning to end the manga with 'Naruto Shipuuden'. So, exept for the mini fillers issue, I think that you have a point: 'omegam14'. --- But there's another side to it, aswell. The anime producers probably gets more viewers in putting the fillers in between the storyline, rather than, like in the first serie, publishing them after the real storyline anime episodes. The viewer numbers decreased at a large scale when the fillers came, and in a greater extent, compared with the fillers in 'Naruto Shipuuden'. --- It's important to take the creators position in a dilemma, to broaden ones picture of a situation. --- Even though it doesn't really take four manga episodes, for one anime episode without mini fillers: 'Losecontrol' has still made a good point in comment 41.

horrible subs DO make subtitles!! you just have to do what you normaly do when you're watching a movie in you movieprogram. turn the subtitles on!! chose "subtitles" in your menu and then chose "on"! took me 10 seconds to figure it out...
