Naruto being a senju is an interesting theory that several here have mentioned. Bottom of pg 13 in this chapter seems to lend support to the idea of a line of senju hokages (i don't think it is just a simple coincidence that all the hokages are in the frame). And the 5th hokage simply carries the theme since she is the granddaughter of the 1st.

One thing i still dont get, in this chapter when it goes back in time of the senju and uchiha madaras sharingan differs vastly from the current sharingan we have seen of itachis, sasukes, and even madaras current sharingan. And if madara has eternal mangekyou sharingan and is "invincible" how come he doesnt have his MS on? and why is he still only covering one eye. Why not have a mask with two eye holes?

I thought it was just the Mangekyou's that differed, Madara got both his and his brothers pattern when he took his brothers eyes. But I think Itachi's had the same pattern as Kakashi's.

Nah, Naruto isnt senju. But more importantly, Naruto won't have a second element, because the whole point was that naruto's wind will 'fan the flame' of sasuke, bring his spirit back. This analogy sucks if he had water, too

@ ovo_j 240. it would be a mistake by madara, as he trys to pull sasuke over to his side (what most people here are thinking i guess) to tell him that he summoned the kyuubi, as sasuke might blame him for the ugly destiny of his brother. and as sasuke is still a good guy but just very aimless its smarter (if u want sasuke to destroy the village or do anything else for the not so very peaceful akatsuki) to present himself as innocent and the leaders of konoha as traitors instead of steady pointing out that his own aims are to take bloody revenge and destroy everything.

To comment 239: So if naruto and sasuke are supposed to have one last all out battle between each other dont you think it would be lame just for naruto to wind against sasukes fire and lightning jutsus. On top of that lets just say by that time sasuke will have mangekyou sharingan and naruto only has wind and the kyuubi dont you think naruto needs a water elemental chakra to battle fairly with sasuke? why would he just have wind to make the flames bigger. ppl keep saying naruto being senju, wouldn't that make tsunade like his aunt? cuz if she is she should know naruto is his nephew or something cuz after all tsunade is granddaughter of first (real senju), and she is 3rd generation senju and minato is also 3rd generation hokage (cuz 1st and 2nd are brothers so they count like one generation) first and second are for sure senjus, but i think 3rd and 4th are not senju cuz isn't hokage suppose to be strongest ninja in the village? and b4 they pick tsunade (senju) ppl picked jiraiya for hokage (i don't think he is a senju) my guess is 4th seem to be so great so his power should come to naruto toward the ending, but i think it's about time naruto get some power or learn something from his mom side.

Naruto being a senju isn't possible, that is, unless his mom cheated on yondaime, lol; then there is a possibility of that being possible. Well, all I can say is that Naruto will some how surpass Sasuke, not sure how, but it's going to happen sooner or later. After all he is the one destined to become the hokage of leaf village, not Sasuke. I'm sure he got his chakra type from his father, so it should be strong. I mean after all Yondaime was the one who became the forth hokage, and is known to be one of the strongest of all the hokages in the history of Konoha. It's just like kakashi said, "the new generation will always surpass the old", it's true. Naruto will surpass his old man in strength, and he'll show what he's capable of on his own. Who knows, he might even surpass the kyubi, and with that, he'll be capable of drawing it's strength on freewill, without being controlled by the kyubi. There's no way he can get ride of it, so might as well use it as a weapon, just like his father wanted. He left his son cursed with the kyubi to only protect the villiage. In other words, he was a tool to be used to defend Konoha, and thats his faith. The title of hokage is given to a person that is capable of protecting the village, and Naruto has the strength, and potential. From the looks of it, Sasuke has started to believe Madara, so it's only natural that he'll avenge his clan, and history will repeat it self. The last battle between Sasuke, and Naruto will take place in the valley of the end, and the out come .. well, we'll just have to wait and see.

Sasuke will join Akatsuki... there are 5 dead member of akatsuki and 1 ring missing (orochimaru) so, the HEbi will all join the akatsuki. And I hope kishi change the title of the manga to "Uchiha Fire User" that's just the way the story goes anyway. and yes, I think kishi (as a fanboy of sasuke) just copy sasuke from haseo, they are very similar. And yeah! why "Fire" (uchiha) country and not "Forest" (senju) country. I think using "Hidden Leaf" village is enough although kishi really want to put his favorite character to be notice that's why he call it "fire country".
