This is ridiculous! The anime is behind about 80-90 chapters and they started a filler, and in no better time than when Naruto complete the first part of his training. It's idiotic! Bleach started their fillers when the anime was behind 30 chapters! I'll just read the manga!

Naruto is still training his wind-element, and all. Also, I think the real purpose of this filler is to focus on Asuma more before he... Well, if you've read the Manga you know what happens to him soon. It also gives a better perspective on the element of wind. I think this Sora kid might be have a tailed-beast inside of him. Maybe he will show up later in the series when Akatsuki goes after the rest of the tailed-beasts as another filler arc. Who knows? Just be patient and enjoy the Manga. Good things come to those who wait :)

Mainly because it was only the Uchiha clan that could ever stand up shoulder-to-shoulder with the Senju. So you stole your brother's eyes to make yourself even more famous? No, that's not it at all. My brother gave me his eyes willingly. the fight agasint sora is so cheap... naruto is so much stronger normaly and they fight like litle litle fools .... So boring and alltime the same moves of naruto... And the fillers are sometimes ok with good information but most of the fillers haven t any sense , they re just a waste of time they repete the most time things that we alrdy know from the episode before... They just want to make money.. they should stop naruto acting like a fool so anyoing...

I can't stand it anymore. Is all what you people can is complaining? You should be glad that there are people who translate this stuff actually. Here in Germany we are not even finished with the first Naruto series (And since it is considered CHILD Material here, the all the Scenes considered too cruel to be watched by minors are cut). Fillers are standard procedure in all the great series. See Dragonball, Sailor moon, Ranma 1/2 man see Detective Conan which is a neverending story. So get over it. The producers have decided to make more fillers, which I can understand since they focus on Asuma here before he dies. What is wrong with that for god's sake? Sometimes it seems to me all the people here are still kids who can't appreciate what they really got. Maybe you should consider that you get this series for FREE and all your people do is complaining? It is a little bit unfair of you,don't you think?

By the way, waiting also for the DD.

I am just getting sick of this series altogether that I am being further and further drawn away from it. In 60 episodes, there has been only 5 battle scenes worth mentioning: Deidara vs Gaara, Sakura+Naruto vs Kakashi, Kanurou vs Sasori, Sakura+Chiyo vs Sasori, and Lee+Neji+Tenten vs Illusions of Themselves. The Sasuke part that we watched in episode 51 was not a battle, just an INCIDENT. 5 battles in 60 episodes... {Sigh} This is where I find the series is getting bad. I counted over 70 battles in 100 episodes in the Pretimeskip, and already we are nearing 60 Episodes of Naruto Shippuden where there were only 5 battles... This is getting repetitive. I could care less if things are subbed or not (I can read and understand Japanese), but the lack of long-lasting battle sequences are really beginning to get to me. That's why I refer the Pretimeskip rather than Shippuden to anyone who is new to Naruto. I wouldn't dare tell them to watch Shippuden, even though Sakura looks older and Hinata's got a jumbo sized chest, and other stupid things like that. The story is pretty bad and the battle scenes are not well animated at ALL like the pretimeskip.

Congratulaions. You just realized that Naruto is NOT only about Battle Scenes. (besides you forgot Kyubi Naruto vs Orochimaru). If you judge an anime only for battle scenes than I think that is pretty sad. Naruto is much more than that. And I find a good story AND Characterization (which is why I liked ALL The fillers) much more important than just stupid battle scenes. Naruto has matured in my opinion with Shipuuden and that is a good thing. Besides it should not be long and you get neat Battle scenes. The Intro of this filler arc is very promising of that. Like expected they focus on Asuma and the story of the 12 Guardian Ninjas (I always wanted to know more about them. In the Manga this part was far too short).

Naruto Shippuuden's animation is the best! The fights were amazing like Sasori's fight or Naruto's fight! The episode with Sasuke was like watching a movie the animation was amazing! Everything about Naruto is perfect! The story, the characters, the animation! Naruto is not only about fight and as I said before this is why is number one! The fillers are also important becouse you learn something more about the other characters! Also as I said before the animators are working right now the new episodes with Akatchuki! And when the time comes we will see another great work!!!
