New Video Codec

Starting with Naruto Shippuuden Episode 54, Dattebayo has been encoding the video using H264. If you e having playback problems, you do not have the proper codec installed to play the video. I recommend downloading and installing ffdshow tryouts. View Comments (33)

Yah, VLC player (http://www.videolan.org/) works with the new codec with zero issues.

this is so retarded, jst download Gom Player from www.gomplayer.com, it reads all possible codecs. :D

Semaka2007, i think you must install K-Lite Codec Pack i m opening all new Naruto episodes with media player clasic and its looking perfect (yahoo for high qualty) this codec better than CCCP Codec :D

I really hate that he changed the codec!! I used to convert it to a different codec anyways, but now my converter does not work with the new codec! Now i cant watch these on my PS3, because I cant convert them to a version it can recognize =[.

I have installed ffdshow and have tried to play the new episodes in VLC and various versions of WMP. I always get a rectangle of snow in the right sixth of the screen. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I view Naruto on my PS3| Normally I use DivX converter but now I have to use KingDIA converter in order to convert it!!! Why not a standard Xvid with MP3 audio! That way it would be compatible with everything!!!

I'm always saw all naruto episodes, from 001 until Shippuuden053 from my dvd player that compatible with this xvid codec. But now..... I'm crying like a baby.... i cannot see it again..... So please bring back old codec as used to be. Thx
