THE SHARINGAN EYE TRANSPLANT JUTSU: Here is my theory...it doesn't matter whether that person was an Uchiha or has a unique blood-line and also it doesn't matter how "the transfer into a new host" is done. Compare: (1) Kakashi's implant by Rin, (2) Madara's "plucking the eye of his brother; though we haven't seen how he did the transplant on himself," we can accept the monster with 4 sockets as the means by which this transfer of demon spirit of the Sharingan jutsu is done; [see [url]http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/386/09/][/url] and (3) Sasuke's receiving Itachi's MS by way of the cursed blood of his brother getting into his left eye. I think the important ingredient as to the transplant is the will of the taker or the giver of the eye/s. Yes i am saying that the transplant must involve a jutsu... not just a medical operation. This is important in any summoning jutsu. And as we already know, a not-so-strong will cannot draw enough chakra/strength to perform or execute a spell technique, moreso, a summoning [e.g., Naruto summons a tadpole]. And a summoning technique necessitates that blood be drawn from the user. [is this why the blood of an Uchiha is called "tainted"? it is a clan's pact with a cursed spirit?] As some have brilliantly pointed out, there must be some very strong emotional turmoil or upheaval in the person's psyche that would pave the way for the Sharingan to be awakened, or developed into the MS, or upgraded to EMS. I also said in another previous post that it seems that the Sharingan is a spirit in itself that could dwell in the hearts of people. It is conscious and it has its own will, and is extremely powerful... that even the demon fox spirit claims is subservient to it. btw someone pointed out that Madara was using the Sharingan in the latest chapter and the MS of Itachi did not activate in Sasuke. could it be that that amaterasu is only a one-time event? Could it be true that Itachi only implanted Ametarasu on Sasuke's eye in order to kill Madara at the sight of him, and he did not give MS to him? we shall see if Sasuke can use the MS again, and at will. *silence*

hey melo good comments as always...i dont think madara is lying to sasuke or would lie knowing that sasuke wouldnt believe him anyway...so there has to be sth big or improtant he would say which sasuke would definitely know to be true...i think somehow itachi killing his clan aas a n anbu mission is true...its all plot-no-jutsu by kishi to eventually pit naruto vs sasuke one last time cos sasuke would be pissed off with the leaf and join madara to destroy konoha...bt then again madaras a smooth operator so who knows...konoha tengu demon king??? wtf??

I strongly believe that madara's face is someone familiar (maybe obito) because if he was not a familiar guy, there would be no reason for him to not show his face (he almost revealed his face but put back on his mask few chapters ago)

Kishi has a purpose not showing the other half of the obitos face so he can use that to make a plot for the succeding chapters , the uchiha chapters /sharinggan chapters. but it shows in the series that it was under a boulder but it doesnt mean that his eye was literaly destroy . . . theory :l-s

@213 kimx yo. and hello everybody, sorry for the long ass posts. summary: the sharingan eye-transplant jutsu is a special medical ninjutsu but it requires the will of the Uchiha donor, and signed by his own blood. The blood of the Uchiha is significant because blood symbolizes life. And I believe the Uchiha has made a pact with the spirit of the Sharingan and it animates their blood and manifests in their tremendous chakra and the Sharingan eye. The higher forms of Sharingan would be acquired through medical ninjutsu but most importantly by summoning the spirit of the Sharingan through the shedding of Uchiha blood.

That is why Itachi said it is not just an ordinary eye transplant but must be done between clansmen. The blood of the Uchiha is essential in any dealings with the spirit of the Sharingan; and the more blood is shed and the more sacrifices made the greater the capacity of the Uchiha to gain the power of the Sharingan. As such the Uchiha blood is cursed for in it dwells a demon spirit that demands the blood of humans. So the Uchiha's fate is wrought in battle as the Sharingan thrives on war and the shedding of blood, esp. the murder of innocent lives -- friend/s, siblings, and clansmen.

@224 thanks fad. i initially liked the theory in 217 and 222 until the mention of obito and the tengu theory. kishi's plot-no-jutsu seemed to have thrown these in the wild-but-extinct theories bin especially in view of the recent manga chapters.

@206 good point ireng. kakashi is indeed different, even itachi found it impossible that the Sharingan would honor the transplant and even grant the Mangekyou to Kakashi. Be that as it may, Kakashi is the wild-card and may have gained some secret insight through his first encounter with Itachi. As I said in a previous post, the Sharingan has a good side; while the cursed path is the path that was chosen by Madara and Itachi, the good path was started by Obito as he gave his left Sharingan as a gift. The Spirit of the Sharingan honors the will of the Uchiha, and the transfer of power through the act of sharing it as a gift -- through love and sacrifice.

@204 sasuke's ms only activated when madara removed his mask and sasuke saw his sharingan but in the latest chapter he had the mask on thereby sas couldn't see the sharingan plus it was stated that itachi tranfered all his eye techniques to sasuke so i doubt it was a one shot thing

if what tobi is saying is true could it be that danzo sent sai to assasinate sasuke because he is the only uchiha spared by itachi and not because he was orochimaru's container

Kakasi mentioned the Sharingan originated from the Hyuga Clan. It gives the imression that back then a girl from the Hyuga clan decieved her father and ran with the man of her dreams which I believe was the Tengu. She probably couldn't have notice then like Neiji there was a blind spot. Why the Tengu chose her maybe to find a perfect body until it was found. That was Madara.
