@676,692. how is it possible to hit or harm madara is now the puzzle that the konoha nins have to solve. but i think they have the raw materials. the descendant/or dna of the 1st is in yamato, and the 4th's son is there,too,--naruto. there is an MS user,also,there,--kakashi; a byakugan user to understand what happens when madara is hit and just gets through him; then kiba and shino and sai, with secret jutsus under their cloaks,as well. in the spoiler it seems shino is about to know how to infiltrate madara's defenses by his tiny insects of a thousand army.

@755 we don't know for sure, but i surmise that he hides the eye that shows the entirely new eye-technique that was given birth by the eye-transplant from madara's younger bro, that itachi was talking about; i think he is reserving that eye for a very special technique which would take much of his chakra and worn out the eye. we know also that each of the eyes of the MS has a special jutsu,and gets worn out in different levels bec of its jutsus. I have said elsewhere that the main point of the story is the secret of the sharingan, that is what would be revealed when the mask is removed.

@ 755 question#3 we also don't know yet how madara is made immortal but his EMS and special eye-technique from the eye-transplant made him invincible. hidan was immortal but it was not explained how he was made immortal, though there might not be time for that since he was a minor character. i think madara was made immortal from his pact with the kyuubi, since we know that the kyuubi is immortal and invincible/powerful with its limitless chakra and regenerative powers. just as oro got his immortality jutsu from his pact with the snakes, universally known to represent death and rebirth, of fertility and sexuality, and the untamed appetites/desires unlimited... in other words, immortality.

@764 oro needed the sharingan and the uchiha body; madara only needs the eyes of the victor or whoever is the winner in the fight between itachi and sasuke. what i maintain is that madara need not possess another uchiha body since he is already an uchiha and as itachi mentioned, he (his body and his eyes, and their power) is alive and well.
