They must not have tombs and memorials by your logic. And I DO wish Jiraiya was alive, he never got to really shine (the story of his life). Hw was my favorite character by far. @729 Great question. We need so much more info about the sharingan and the curse behind it. We also need to know the relationship between the bijuu and the sharingan, because there must be more to it than we have been told. Remember when Sausuke met the Kyuubi? I have managed to avoid some of the spoilers here (it has not been easy, I have some idea what happened in the next chapter and I fucking hate that), but the outcome of the Sausuke vs Itachi fight and what Itachi has to say to Sausuke might give at least another clue.

This principle is affirmed by Kakashi in the Zabuza-Haku vs. Team 7 arc about hunter nins, a.k.a. body erasers, disposing of the bodies of Shinobi that contain many secrets. You evidence is overwhelming and if you took the time to put all of that together, very nice. I could nitpick some of it, but I'd only be a dick if I did so. The slim possibility that Obito is running around would have to come from 1) A spec of DNA was left, just as a spec of the 1st and 2nd Hokages was left for Orochimaru to use to ressurect them. And to create Yamato too for that matter. 2) There may not have been enough hunter-nin around to take care of all of the corpses in that war zone. Obito certainly wasn't easily accessible, dead or alive. We know there was a shortage of manpower from the wars and that is mentioned in the kakashi-gaiden arc as a reason for those children to be on the battlefield in the first place. or 3) His appearance is somehow related to Pain's abilities. I personally think you're right, but Kishi seems to pull stuff out of his butt sometimes. which means that kind of stuff is smelly and..well, let's not go there.

hehe, nevermind... I have a theory: Pain is stronger than Tobi: Pain is the leader because he's very powerful still AND the founder of Akatsuki. That does not imply that Pain is weaker than Tobi. So far, with all the fights we have saw, Pain is surely the strongest shinobi in the naruto verse. He is the only S-class shinobi that has being invincible this far. Madara was beaten by the 1st and the 4th. | Also, being higher on the shinobi hierarchy does not imply that he/she is the stronger of all lower class shinobi. Naruto and Sasuke are still a genins, but fight like jounins. When the 3rd died to Orochimaru, it was weaker than the S-class sennins. Since Madara is a shell of its former self and Pain is invincible and defeated one of the strongest shinobi, Jiraiya with basically a 1/6 of damage I conclude that Pain is stronger than Madara. There's some jutsu that has to be made by 3 MS users; probably controlling bijuus like pets.

whoa.. o.o thats one big post molo, but I like it cuz I hate the theory of tobi being Madara, so its great to see someone backing up their opinion with such concrete evidence, however, this can explained with just pure logic. Here's the deal. Madara has the option of getting a young uchiha body that is much stronger and healthier than a dead uchiha kid (who only has one sharingan by the way), but despite that, he decides to dig up Obito, even though he's the same as other uchiha's, and takes over his body. So, the question here is.. what will he gain by doing this? Is there something special about Obito? No. So, why will he take over his body? It just wouldn't make any sense now will it? When he met and confronted Pain he was further confused. In all the fight between Pain and Jiraija, Jiraija was actually gathering information because he knew it was a suicide mission. However, the worth of Jiraija's death was not in killing 1/6 of Pain, but on trusting Naruto over Pain as THAT special shinobi. Beause he trust Naruto over Pain. | Then comes my second part of the theory: Naruto could develop a do-jutsu and that do-jutsu is the Rin-egan. No, Naruto does not posses such bloodline, and even if he did, it would have been reviled by now in one of his fights. Also, there was nothing mentioned about the 4rth having any blood limit, and Pain is not even from Konoha, so for them to be related is just weird. However, it'll be interesting to see it turns out to be this, but I doubt it.
