@515 I don't really know one way or another, but unless they dug up that whole cave to check his pulse Obito was never formally pronounced dead. We never saw Rin or anyone else pronounce him dead, that's for sure. See chapter 244 page 9. Still alive last time we saw him. It's a stretch, but I guess he could be alive. I doubt it but it's not as "simple as that".

After I have read a bit on wikipedia I found out that their rings symbols have a great resemblence to their abilities such as deideras dragon, orochimarus "outside world" and so on. Anyone have an idea of what´s this is all about ? Does this mean they get a ring and then some sort of power ?

Heya 2635prex. Those are some cool ideas. I am gonna lean towards the rings enabling the members of Akaysuki to communicate with each other and astrally project themselves so that they can capture the Bijuu, though. No other groups in the Naruto universe seem to have those abilities. I guess it could come from one of the Akatsuki members having a special jutsu though. Meh, I could be totally wrong , just an idea.

I just think the resemblence between what the rings stands for and what the members can do is pretty close. That astral thing is also something im working on, but I just can´t figure it out yet :/

Guess we have to wait a bit for that :) The rings seems to be the only connection to that astral thing tho´ :)

Coming to think of the fourth Hokage and the formation of Konoha (which is made up of lots of clans), and how most ninja's have the symbol of their clan on their clothes, I just thought of Naruto maybe having some other abilities he may not know of..... guys lets think of this most of the geniuses had support(ninja training) from their parents... imagine the fourth just being alive to train his own son... teaching him jutsus just d way Sasuke was thought the fireball jutsu by his dad..... having ur parents aroud especially if they were ninjas wud help in ur growth e.g Chouji, Shikamaru, Neji(b4 his dad's death), Rock Lee(atleast Gai is like a dad to him)..... emmm going back to clans, the first hokage had his own clan so most of the occupants of konoha come from clans with each having their own secrets..... for the Fourth to be able to use a jutsu that can take out and entire army certainly he has a large amount of chakra and also the fourth is a chakra sensing ninja if u guys noticed and not all ninjas are chakra sensing.... if Naruto can happen to know d secret to his background this could help in his growth as a ninja and maybe unlocking some of the fourth's Techniques...... You may neva know a relative might show up.........looool.... so i dont really know wat i'm sayin, i'm just trying

Could be as you said, make him not unlock, but curious and have kakashi train him even more. The 4th was still kakashi´s mentor. that could make a nice twist to where the story is going.

about Pain: Rinnegan means Samsara eye which is the cyrcle reincarnation. In other words you need to seal Pain´s soul to get rid of him. Maybe that Jutsu the 4th were using to seal the nine-tails and the 3rd used on orochimaru. That must be how to defeat Pain. Not sure but I´m pretty confident about it tho´

Maybe the ninjas with a bloodline can activate their abilíty from their souls. Just think about it for a moment. Rinnegang is activatet through the soul, I read about samsara eye on wiki. Maybe Uchiha´s work the same way. This is just wishful thinking but if this is true we might see something like that from Naruto too. Sasuke got Sharingan fighting against Haku. A lot of emotionally stuff was going on with him and he gained Sharingan. Naruto on the other hand depended on the kyuubi. So if he has a bloodline now it might be showed. I know it´s not a fact but still. Now when he´s fighting now using the strenght of the kyuubi he might awake that bloodline. I dont know just wishfull thinking here don´t start flaming me. This would actually make sense on how to activate ones bloodline. Please post your thoughts about this.

Rin (the medical ninja and team member of kakashi,obito,and the 4th) is presumed dead but we don't see Kakashi visiting her tomb or memorial, too. So Obito is dead! Deal with it.

considering how easily itachi beat orochimaru, since both itachi and kisame would probably have lost to jiraiya, even without his sennin mode, pain must be insanely powerful to defeat him in his strongest form
