(rolls eyes and snorts a laugh at the sillines of the Number Freaks) Well, I thought that was a good episode. Something that was not seen in the manga and a welcome change to the drag-outs of the last episode. Kabuto can really match well against Kakashi, so I'm not surprise he can fight against Yamato. It took a surprise attack by Sai to capture him. Yet I enjoyed that look on Kabuto's face when he realized Sakura's punch was not going to be an ordinary punch there. I would love to see Sakura pwn Kabuto good just once. X3 (sigh) I guess it will be another two episodes until the meeting with Sasuke if that preview was any indication. :

There haven´t been shown any jutsu´s so maybe he trained his mind. But after what i´ve seen he´s still as slowminded as before. All we know is that they trained his control over the nine tailed. Basically

yeah prex, i think the same his training with jiriya was about controling the nine tails, not anykind of jutsu which i think should have been the main focus of his training. with speed of course.

He did teach him about genjutsu. He must have learned SOME new techniques...

Naruto might have learned some counter-ninjutsu, but otherwise he seems the same he used to be... 2635prex - if he was trained to (somehow, anyhow) control nine-tails, then there is no result to be seen (fight against Orochimaru...) and his mind... ...sometimes I wander whether he has any...

Before he left with Jiraya he could use 1 tail, not knowing what he did. Now he can use 3 tails an still have "some" control. That´s an improvement to me. Maybe the biggest improvement of Naruto these 2 and a half year ?

But that doesn't really count as a technique. The demon cloak is actually hurting him right? Any new techniques, i gurentee you, will somehow involve kagi bunshin.

One more thing: he is maybe able to resist (and use) the nine-tails chakra to some point, but he is always told not to use that power - in another words cannot be counted as technique. So the result of his training is unclear...

I think it´s a pitty he didn´t learn at least a few new techniques. He had like 2 and a half year to do it. Anyway his timing with kage bunshin has improved as Kakashi mentioned in the beginning. Maybe we can see it because of his anger. Mentioned before in the anime that anger is the trigger to the nine-tails. His anger against akatsuki, Orochimaru and so on. But it doesn´t seem like he´s improved that much to me either. Sad but true.

I would hope he has improved with kage bunshin, it's his main technique besides rasengan. Maybe we'll see something in the upcoming battle for saskue.

Another thing is Jiraiya said, he can maintain his SENSES in 3 tailed form. At 4th he cannot tell differance betwean friend or foe. And remember the fight againts Deidara ? He had 2 tails and attacked Kakashi. Some sort of "controll".
