Koor, Kakashi's mangekyou Sharingan is different from Itachi's. he doesn't share the same Uchiha blood so it's only likely his would differ from Itachi's. It may be that or it could just be that every sharingan user ha a different sharingan.

Shadow the spoiler said Madara killed his brother. He ain't playing any part. And apparently all Uchiha's went about fratricide through out the history of the clan. I wonder how old most of the Uchiha men really were.

Here's what's going to happen over the next several chapters: Itachi and Sasuke will fight. Tobi reveals he's Uchiha Madara. Madara fights Naruto & Co. Sasuke defeats Itachi over a long battle( Sasuke is a major character while Itachi is a major secondary character.) Itachi will tell Sasuke to take his eyes. Sasuke may or may not do so. Madara will overwhelm Naruto & Co. and will flee. Sasuke targets Madara. Sasuke will still alienate himself from Naruto & Co but aid them in terminating Akatsuki members. And the rest depends on whether Sasuke takes the eyes of his brother.

Yeah, I forgot that he mentioned that. As for switching eyes, that's interesting. But why did Madara kill his brother instead of switching eyes? But , I wouldn't rule out the switching eyes notion, it definitely would bring something interesting to the story.

ok well just thinking out loud here...madara the MS before his fight with shodaime i guess that would mean they probably werent best friends. maybe i just heard they were best friends in too many theories and got it mixed up as fact. oh well. and since uchiha's came from hyuugas and madara and his brother were basically the first uchiha i guess that would mean that before they attained the sharingan they both had byukagan. so wat the hell howd they get it to mutate into the sharingan. according to the spoilers they got it just by competing and growing but im sure they had to meet some specific requirements or complete some special task in order to attain the sharingan because if all they had to do was train hard then maybe any hyuuga can turn their byukagan into sharingan just by hard work and i doubt thatll be possible. lmfao shabopie. peter griffin kills me. wait no gotta keep thinking on track. umm so in order for their blood line to be more cursed than kyuubi, they must have had contact with some dark powers before attaining the sharingan. and ummm o fuck it!

Chunkylover53, the Sharingan is a derivative of the Byakugan. It doesn't necessarily mean that Madara had it. Remember Madara found the clan, not the Sharingan. But even that story is scewed because it's obvious from the spoilers that there were a group of Sharingan users before Madara so I don't know how Kishimoto will tie up the loose ends.

well look at this line over here "As a result they awakened to the Sharingan. They became known as special brothers even within the clan." they wouldnt be considered special if they werent the first ones to have it. and the sharingan is a derivative of the byakugan, thats true. but that would mean that byakugan had something to do with the development of the sharingan because the way i see it in order for the sharingan to be byakugan's derivitive, they have to be related somehow. although just the idea of madara having been born with byakugan sort of distrubs me, ill keep that idea in mind for now

The givens: (1) Madara is immortal. (2) He is indestructible (as evidenced by his surviving Sasuke's lightning sword and Naruto's rasengan. If Madara is immortal and it is because of his natural ability to do rapid cell regeneration that is why he is also indestructible, then he does not need to possess someone else's body (e.g. Obito's or Shishui's). Madara is covering his left eye probably to save it from being blind. Kakashi has shown that he can use only an eye for the Mangekyu Sharingan, though Itachi seem not to care that he is losing his sight. Maybe he also is banking on the plan of Madara to acquire the bijuus esp. the Kyuubi so that they can have the Kyuubi's regenerative powers (like what it does to Naruto). Come to think of it, it does not make sense being immortal and being blind. In other words, Madara's plan to regain the true power of the Sharingan (elsewhere, Itachi refers to the Mangekyu as the true power of the Sharingan, in his first fight with Kakashi) is to counter the blinding effects of the Mangekyu through the Kyuubi's regenerative powers or to re-acquire his MS (probably his eye was destroyed by the first or by the Kyuubi) or that the MS has still something higher to develop into. Madara's and Itachi's plans are yet unclear to us.

He wouldnt need to cover his left eye, because he will never lose his sight. He doesnt need kyuubi regeneration to not go blind, because he never goes blind, because apparently if you take someone else's blinding eyes, you will never go blind. Kishi really let me down with this one.

Ok so real fight between Itachi and Sasuke ahead! i dont think Itachi got his friends eyes when he killed him, i think to get the stronger MS, you need another MS user. Yeah me too, to obtain the ETERNAL MS madara plucked his brother's eyes, so he wont get blind by MS, a cruel thing but what is to become of the world if there is no bad guys. Just like what I thought madara and shodaime is fighting for something and then madara created organization called AKATSUKI to fullfill its dreams. Its a Fans Fiction or a fake story another theory from someone maybe, try to download the chapter 386 and you will find the answer why madara & shodaime fight. or go to comment #444 that breaks the story you tell.

something i dont really understand...so basically we all kinda know that madara = tobi, and we can see from previous chappies that pain takes orders from madara...but jiraya says in one of the chapters that of the three great eye techniques (byukugan, sharingan, rinnegan), the rinnegan is the most powerful by far. if thats the case why the heck is pain taking orders from madara, shouldnt it be the other way round?

Bum I know why Pein takes orders from MADARA.. Simply put he can't beat him. And if you can't beat him join him. Madara is immortal, he can't be hurt. And I'm sure Pein can be. So if you can't hurt some one and they continue to thrash you and your other bodies, You may just give up. Then follow orders. I think that's why We haven't seen Yahiko. His original body is so jacked up on life support right now that it can't move.

Oh yeah another thing. Rin'engan can make any jutsu...Sharingan can copy any jutsu and it also hypnotises the person looking into the eyes. So in effect Yahiko screwed himself by looking in Madara's eyes and did a jutsu that was used against him. Also if you noticed that when Madara was with Pein he had his Sharingan activated. That's probably just a guess here.. So Pein wouldn't try to attack him with a new jutsu. Because the Sharingan is so cheap it copies everything another ninja does.

OMG ….. I left for a week and just came back to read and look at the new chapter, and I cant believe it ….. Itachi has completely redeemed himself in my eyes….. I always knew he was evil but I didn’t think he was insane as well. From the begging when we saw itachi spear sasuke’s life after he was finish killing the clan, I thought it was because he had another end for sasuke in mind, something like making sasuke join him at his side, or I thought it was because he just had a soft spot for his lil brother still. But I would have never guessed he was saving sasuke only to kill him for his eyes later on. That’s just messed up, if I were sasuke just killing him wouldn’t be enough for me anymore, I would also have to find someway of torturing him in the after life as well. Also from what I gather itachi is not only planning to surpass madara but to also take his place as the new ultimate evil. Also this Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan (correct me if im wrong) not only restores the power of MS but gives you the ability to keep it forever.

well according to the new chapter, Madara founded Akatsuki. so its only normal for pein to take orders since he's not the leader at all.

i dont think madara is alive more spiritually than physically. when sasuke sliced him he didnt regenerate but rather the sword went right through him like a ghost. the reason why i take out the possibility of regeneration is because when we were first introduced to tobi and and he picked up sasori's ring, youll notice that the ring goes right through his hands and falls to the ground. regeneration doesnt allow u to do that.

I don't think Pein follows Madara because he's [immortal]. You can defeat someone without actually killing them. I think it all lies with in the new dojutsu that Madara gained when he plucked his brother's eyes. It may be very powerful even enough to overwhelm Pein.

damn i lost all my respect to itachi in this weeks chapter, but finally we know why itachi spared his brother, it wasnt to test his strenght, but in order to achieve the constant MS. Man sasuke was just a spare of eyes...... well anyway good chapter, and now we know that madara was behind the nine tail attack as well.

we shouldnt really start comparing pein to madara yet esp wen we still dont fully understand the powers of the rinnegan.

Say if sasuke got the ms could itachi and sasuke trade eyes and then they would both hav permanet ms, coz madara took hes lil brothers and shouldnt both of their eyes b going blind so it wouldnt realli matter, aslong as the ms has a new host?

@ Silver Devil, i was thinking the same thing. since both madara and his brother had the ms so both of their eyes must have been deteriorating. this leads to the questions of why couldn't madara and his brother just switch eyes with eachother and both could have the permanant ms.

man...i was really routing for itachi to be more than just some power-hungry lunatic who killed his entire clan. this chapter really squashed that hope, i guess itachi has to die.

because the requirement isnt just to take out ur brother's eye but to also kill him. thats why they both couldnt just switch.

wow amazing chapter....quick theory to put out there...sasuke is going to woop itachis ass and in itachis dieing moments hes going to say to sasuke "you've surpassed me so i want you to have my eyes and become stronger than madara" :)...there is really only one outcome of this battle and i as well as almost everyone would have to agree that if sasuke dies now...it would make naruto kind of awkward..since he is one of the main characters

and one of narutos goals in life is to bring sasuke back
