The reason Itachi killed everyone is because after he "unlocked" the Mangekyou Sharingan. He thought everyone was else were cowards and losers for not having it. He thought that they were waisting a very powerful skill by not unlocking it and keeping the eye a secret. He figured they no longer needed to be around. So he put some of the villagers into that jutsu making them go crazy. It also leaves you incapasitated therefore easir to kill. He new he could kill them all because he was the only onr with that Sharingan at least he thought he was.

Itachi killed his clan because he didnt like how things were going. To me I think it was how peaceful things were and he seen his caln as weaklinks. Plus he told Sasuke that he did it to see what he was capable of.

Afro Samurai..... about 5% of it reminded me of The Boondocks.... and the other 95% of it reminded me of Samurai Champloo... its definatly a promising series... although i personaly thought the main storyline could have been better.... but i had this same opinion when i watched Samurai Champloo.... umm... for thoses that are quemish around blood or ppl's limbs and heads gettin' choped off in like every battle...umm... this is not the anime for u (although its not as bloody as Rurouni Kenshin's 1st movie, Reminiscence).... Ohh and its in English.... Not Japanese with Eng. subs..... hehe.. Samual L. Jackson is also the vioce of the the Main character "Afro", if im not mistaken..... defanitly a good anime.... its worth to check it out... :P

Bacat, i think you came up with the zero chakra Hidan death scenario.? I don't think it will happen that way. Hidan is still moving well, has only performed his ritual once, and has let Kakuzu perform all other jutsus. It will take some folks to gang up on Hidan to wear him out. The group confronting Kakuzu may send 1 or 2 shinobi to help Shika, but it will take the best they have to wear him down. They need their best to finish Kakuzu and his last 2 masks first. That and we are only 3-5 moves into Shika's calculations. Shikamaru must not be underestimated, he has another option connected to that lighter, the tags, another jutsu, some slice and retreat tactics, or a combo of the above. I hope!

I don't believe chakra has anything to do with Hidan's imortallity. I believe he learned it through his religion. Maybe Ordy is right it takes three injury points to kill Hidan. If you destroy the brain he can't make his body move. If you destroy his heart blood doesn't flow to the his limbs. Also if you remove his lungs it's darn hard to keep the body moving. With out any of these organs your body shuts down.

Lol..I think Orichimaru helped him learn the "body" chidori. You know I always wondered why Kakashi never tried something like, that after we were shown chidori for the first time. It just seemed like a good defense mechanism. I have to say Sasuke has come a very long way. Orichimaru is a good teacher. He's a kid toucher, but a highly skilled kid toucher. Still it's easy teaching someone with Sharigan new techniques. Which is why Jaraiya is still the #1 teacher.
