Well, I believe he didn't use it because to simply use it once it wears him out a great deal, and leaves him with the possibility of passing out and, well, being of no help what so ever... he'd have to use it each time to send a heart to another dimension since he has to focus on one thing alone, meaning to get rid of more than one heart he would have had to use it multiple times (which we've seen him do with Deidara, once with the arm, once with the explosive clay dummy) but by then, if he had still used the chidori as much as he has, he most likely would have been on the ground, unconcious... so, I'm guessing that is his dilemma in this situation... Ino... well... Ino needs to come in use, yes... but she's waiting for Shikamaru's approval of her actions... each time she goes to do something he tells her not to... hmm...

Yes that makes perfect sense bacatlover. However, what do u think is to become of Shikamaru, and Hidan. The plan that involved the blood capsule was used to dispatch one of Kakuzu's hearts, however knowing Shikamaru I'm certain he realized even if the plan to destroy one of Kakuzu's hearts was successful, that he would be vulnerable to Hidan's attacks. Either Shikamaru has a plan to stop Hidan, or someone will come to rescue him.

Wouldn't it be soooo anoying if Kakuzu choose to flee now that the reinforcements have arrived. He may be Akatsuki, but with two hearts gone, and a low supply of chakra, he is powerless against Sakura, Sai, Naruto, Yamato, Kakashi, Ino, and Chouji. I think that he's going to try and escape.

Your right Silent Shadow the Hunter, but even at the beginning of the battle when Kakuzu was at 100%, he still had a hard time against Kakashi, Ino, Chouji, and Shikamaru. Now he has even more Konoha ninja to deal with, and he's at a disadvantage. He might not flee, but he definitely has a smaller chance of winning than before.

Hidan is having too much fun to retreat...... Kakuzu doesn't seem to be the kinda guy to retreat either...... he said so himself that "its been a long time since he has lost 2 hearts in 1 battle" and said it with a smile on his face........soo i think he is gonna go all out on this battle but in the end he is gonna die...... i think its gonna be a cheesy ending like Kakuzu is about to die, so he tells his life story and how he was actully looking forward to his own death cuz he lived soo long or something.......

I'm alittle disappionted with Naruto's Fuuton:Rasengan. With all the hype, I thought that his new jutsu would be far more impressive. Naruto has one of the largest amounts of chakra in the entire series. By now he should know so many different jutsu. With his large supply of chakra, he's got the potential to learn the most powerful of jutsu, but he still has a limited selection of jutsu.

Naruto did both jutsus. Look at his hands. Sai is wearing gloves or something black. Sai is shown on picture 1 and last picture wearing gloves. When justu's were made the person didn't have any gloves!

Once again, we didn't see the completed Fuuton: Rasengan, we saw the crater from the ALMOST complete jutsu... he has the potential of course, but Naruto isn't always the brightest character, he can be pretty quick, mind you, but it still takes him awhile to figure some things out... and besides, I've said this before, he probably does know many smaller jutsus, just like every other shinobi, but we don't always see them in use because of that... Naruto's done something amazing anyways, he's completed something that Konoha's best ninja ever couldn't... where is the disappointment in that.. (and by the way saske, that right there, shuhan's comment is appropriate criticism of Naruto, not your simply saying it sucks and is boring... have a little back up for your reasonings other than it's predictable, because, while, yes, it can be predictable (like Kakuzu not dying from Chidori, it is also not predictable, such as Kakuzu having four hearts... I believe the most common assumption for that was he could move his heart to a different place in his body... I'm not saying there wasn't anyone who predicted that, but still, not completely predictable... and geez, if you're going to be that rude, why don't you just say it... FUCK... wow... that was hard). And Naruto did not do both, the gloves thing is wrong, because we clearly see Kakashi use chidori numerous times with gloves, as well as when he shows Naruto he can use Rasengan, as well as the fact that Yamato, the character that did do the water jutsu isn’t wearing gloves (so that would disprove your statement even further) and he appears to be holding his arm like he did just do it….
